September 25, 2007- Violent crime rises again - Homicides, rape, robbery or aggravated assault climb nearly 2% last year, FBI records show. But property crimes are down. Washington, D.C. - Violent crime increased in the United States in 2006 for the second consecutive year, continuing an upward climb after more than a decade of declines, according to statistics released Monday by the FBI.
