September 25, 2007- Violent crime rises again - Homicides, rape, robbery or aggravated assault climb nearly 2% last year, FBI records show. But property crimes are down. Supreme Court to Decide on Right to Bear Arms

The Supreme Court has announced that it will hear a case that is expected to revisit one of the most persistent and controversial arguments to engage Americans since the earliest days of nationhood - the right to bear arms.

Next March, the Court will hear the case of District of Columbia v. Heller. This will be the first opportunity in seventy years for the Court to reconsider the full scope of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Read more
